He-Man & eBay

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe action figures are an awesome line of toys to collect they are cool and the collection size is relatively small.  Its small size made it much easier for collectors to complete the set.  The He-Man line started in 1982 and lasted through 1987.  He-Man had many interesting friends and foes.

From the good heroes like He-Man and She-Ra to the evil leader Skeletor the toy line really drew a great parallel of good vs. evil.  Not to mention how cool Castle Greyskull is!  Best part is that you can find all the He-Man toys and more in hundreds of eBay auctions!  Buying He-Man toys couldn't be easier with help of eBay.

Back in the early 1980's, the toy manufacturer Mattel reportedly was working on a line of "Conan the Barbarian" action figures. Somewhere along the line, however, somebody in the Marketing department must have decided that an uncivilized pagan sword-wielding barbarian might not be the ideal role model for children, and so the toy line was converted into the "Masters of the Universe" series of toys.

The toy line sold surprisingly well. Mattel, looking for ways to boost sales still further, asked the animation studio Filmation to produce a cartoon show based on the toys.  Mattel got far more than it bargained for. "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" was born.
